Angler v. Angler Anglers fishing from the shore have had cause to complain to the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society about interference from anglers fishing from boats within 300 yards of the shore. The president, Mr F. T. Gorton, reported to the council meeting last evening that "strong action” had been taken. Tahiti Service Qantas, the Australian airline, will inaugurate a weekly return service between Sydney and Tahiti, via Fiji, on November 22. The service has been provided chiefly to meet a demand from tourists.
