Australian Air Chiefs Visit

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. The Royal Australian Air Force chief of the air staff Air Marshal Sir Valston Hancock will arrive in New Zealand next Monday on an official visit. This was announced today by the Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre). Air Marshal Hancock will arrive at Ohakea in an R.A.A.F. Canberra twin-jet bomber and leave for Australia in this aircraft from Whenuapai on November 21. During his four-day visit he will have talks with chiefs of staffs and members of the Air Board. He will also inspect the Wigram and Woodbourne stations. Air Marshal Hancock will be accompanied bv Captain R. A. H. Miller, R.N., the Australian defence representative in New Zealand.
