Troop replacements for Australian forces in Malaysia began today. By next Sunday, three chartered Boeing 707 jets will have ferried 110 engineers and gunners, their wives and children from Sydney to Singapore.
The troops will replace a battery which has just completed two years’ service in Malaysia.
