Aircraft Delayed By Fault
(IV .Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Nov. 12. The pilot of a Canadian Pacific Britannia cut an engine as the airliner was taking off from Whenuapai this afternoon. Propeller trouble was suspected. The airliner circled Auckland for 15 minutes while fuel was burned off and then landed on three engines for a mechanical check.
The aircraft left again at 5.30 p.m. with 25 passengers for Sydney. It was delayed four and a half hours.
