Election Meeting Cancelled
(From Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT, Nov. 12. The Labour member of Parliament for Buller (Mr W. E. Rowling) has cancelled some of his election meetings because of the death of his mother, Mrs A. Rowling. Mrs Rowling died in Nelson on Monday evening after being in hospital for about a week Meetings which were to be held today at Havelock and Linkwood have been cancelled. and Mr Rowling has also cancelled meetings scheduled for tomorrow at Rai Valley and French Pass. He hopes to resume his campaign at Wakefield on Thursday.
