Withdrawal From Kenya
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NAIROBI, November 12. The First Battalion. Gordon Highlanders, will be posted to Edinburgh next March, beginning the withdrawal of 5000 British servicemen from Kenya. The Second Battalion, Scots Guards, will leave by autumn for Pirbright, Surrey. The 24th Infantry Brigade's administrative units will go to Aden during the last quarter of 1964. Britain and Kenya have agreed earlier that British troops should be withdrawn by the end of Kenya’s first year of independence.
