Christmas Party
Residents of Fitzgerald House and elderly parishioners were entertained at a Christmas Party held by the afternoon branch of the St. James’ Mothers’ Union, as their last meeting for the year. Members and guests were welcomed by Hits L. Parker. A service in the church was conducted by the Rev. T. A. McKenzie, and a programme of songs, including Christmas carols, was sung by the Riccarton League of Mothers choir, conducted by Mrs J. Oolthart. Soloists were Mesdames M. Hanafin and K. Swallow. Mrs D. Pashby gave a recitation..
