ROYALTIES IN RUSSIA
Macmillan’s Aid To Be Sought (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 10. The former British Prime Minister, Mr Harold Macmillan is to be urged to ask Mr Khrushchev to pay royalties owed to writers and musicians by Russia. A wealthy Chinese painter now in London. Mr Kim Gaul Kwan, aged 65. hopes to persuade Mr Macmillan, as statesman and publisher, to undertake the mission. Mr Kwan estimates the value of royalties owing at £62,000,000. With money due to authors now dead a MacmillanKhrushchev Cancer Research Foundation could be established in Switzerland. The scheme is backed by the British writers, Graham Greene. Somerset Maugham and C. P. Snow.
