Assembly Move On Maoris
Joint ministries between Maori Synod congregartions and presbyteries and sessions are urged in a motion passed by the Presbyterian General Assembly in Christchurch on Thursday evening. The report of the Maori Synod received by toe assembly started ‘The Maori Synod has a continuing rate to play in Maori life but increasing responsibility must be accepted by presbyteries and congregations tor drawing Maori people within their bounds into the life, work and witness of the church.”
