Fishing Boat Capsizes

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. Oct. 29.

When a fishing boat capsized in Lake Brunner near Te Kinga on Sunday afternoon, three men and a boy were thrown into the water The occupants were Messrs J Sheehan. R McMahon and A. Logie, of Blackball, and Mr Sheehan’s five-year-old son. Neville. The boy was trapped in the cabin of the overturned boat but was rescued by one of the three men, who dived underneath. The boy suite ed no ill effects. Mr R. A. Webber, a fisherman, of Rotomanu. saw the boat overturn and hurried to the home of Mr A. V. Hill, at Te Kinga. who went out in the lake in his boat and rescued all four persons, who were cling* ng to the upturned craft Mr Sheehan’s boat was righted and towed in by Mr Hill.
