HILLBOROUGH RESIDENTS
New Association To Be Formed
The Hillsborough Residents’ Association will cease to exist after the end of November, a special meeting of members decided last evening. The secretary (Mr T. S. Hansen) said it was planned to amalgamate with the Hillcote Improvement Society and to form a new organisation to be called, possibly, the Hillsborough Residents' Improvement Society. The amalgamaion of the two societies would be an advantage to the district as a whole, he said. In spite of the wet weather, there was a good attendance at last evening's meeting.
