MAGISTRATE’S COURT

MONDAY (Before Messrs J. S. Boughen and W. Wilmott, Justices of the Peace) A man, whose name was suppressed, was remanded on bail to Friday on charge of being in charge of a shotgun while under the influence of drink or drugs. Mr J. N. Matson, who appeared for the accused., said the matter arose from a domestic dispute. Robert Gourley, aged 27. a workman, was remanded in custody until today on charge of breach of probation. David 'Allan Scott, aged 28, a workman, was remanded on bail to Friday on a charge of assault and one of wilful damage. An application for suppression of his name was refused, and he was ordered to report daily to the police.
