LOST BOY FOUND
Cold Night On Mountain (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Oct. 28. Elliott Mercer, aged 6, of Palmerston North, munched a sandwich at toe Ohakune police station this morning, after a cold night lost on the slopes of Mount Ruapehu.
Searchers found him at 9.15 tois morning near toe end of toe Ohakune mountain road, not far from where he wandered off from a family party about 2 p.m. yesterday. About 70 men were on the mountain this morning and last night looking for the boy. Elliott was wearing shorts and a jersey, gumboots and a hat
