Typewriter For Crippled Girl
(N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA, October 10. Gaye Kendall, a 13-year-old cripple, of 19th avenue, Taiurtanga, was today presented with a £4OO electric typewriter through the joint efforts of the Te Puke Rotary Club and a Tauranga office supplies firm. A conventional typewriter has too heavy a touch for her.
Withi.i the next few years Canada plans to increase its contribution by disposing annually of 40 million dollars worth of grain products, such as wheat, flour or barley and oats to help starving nations.
