Sefton Breeder Gains Award "The Press" Special Service FEILDING, September 11. Mr A. H. Topp, of Sefton, was awarded the Beef Shorthorn Breeders’ Association’s premier trophy, the Meat and Wool Cup, at the association’s annual national show and sale of bulls at Feilding today. Mr Topp’s champion entry, an all white yearling bull, Amesbury Ross 11, was said by the judge, Mr J. J. Wylie, of Omihi, to be an outstanding animal for its age. It had a beautiful coat, was very even in the flesh, had a great bone structure and was a good walker. The runner-up, Tahuna Xerxes, a two-year-old bull entered by Mr P. S. Plummer and Son (Waipawa), had long, smooth flesh, but was not as good a walker as the champion, Mr Wylie said. Results were:— Meat and Wool Cup Led Bulls.—A. H. Topp (Sefton), 1: P. S.
