Parliament spent yesterday afternoon debating the report of the Maori Affairs Committee that the Waitangi Day Amendment Bill be not proceeded 'with. The debate was adjourned at 5.30 p.m.
Last night the House continued with the second reading debate on the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Bill.
