Waimakariri Bridge
Sir, —Heartiest f congratulations to the North Canterbury Catchment Board. To make decisions is one thing; to reconsider a situation and alter a decision requires courage. Such courage has recently been shown by the | board. It should ask the Government for a bank-to-bank bridge instead of the earlier half-way hotch-potch agreed to. Three cheers for common sense.—Yours, etc., r. ross mcpherson. September 9, 1963.
