FOUR TITLES TO AUCKLAND
Schools Fencing Championships (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 8. Auckland won four of the five titles at the national secondary schools fencing championships at Wellington during the week-end. The results were:— Team Foils.—Boys: Auckland A 5 wins; Auckland B. 4. Girls: Auckland A. 8; Auckland B. 4. Individual Foils.—Boys: P. Ring (Auckland L 7; Z. Apathy (Wellington) 7; G Greig (Auckland). 6; E. Frische (Auckland) and J. Gaudin (Auckland). 4. Girls: J. Larsen (Auckland), 8; H. Schwartz (Wellington), 7; D Swain (Canterbury). 5; D. Smith (Wellington), 5. Individual Sabre.—Boys: Z Apathy (Wellington). 6; P. Kitchener (Auckland). 5; D. Nicholls (Wellington), 5; S. Parr (Auckland). 5.
