Leader Goes Well Ahead Only two A grade matches were played in the nineteenth round of the men’s indoor basketball competition, held last evening. The match between University A and University B has been deferred because of the University tournament In Dunedin. Y.M.C.A., the competition leaders, had a six-point win over Y-Boys, the third team, and Rex comfortably beat Wigram. In the first half of the match between Y-Boys and Y.M.CA. the latter team took control to go to a 17-9 lead at half-time. In the second spell, however. Y-Boys fought back to come within four points of the leader, but finally went down, 29-23. The Canterbury representative. R. Entwistle, was in fine form for Y.M.C.A., scoring 12 points. R.
