Good Price Paid For Steer
The price of £73 2s 6d paid for a Shorthorn steer at the regular Studholme market is just 7s 6d below what is believed to be the record price paid at these yards. The vendor was Mr S. Thompson (Waihao Downs), The previous highest figure of £73 10s 6d for a steer was paid several years ago.
