GOVT. IN DANGER
No-Confidence Motion (N Z P A.-Reuter—Copyright) OSLO, August 23. Two votes may topple Mr Einar Gerhardsen's Labour Government at the end of the Norwegian Parliament’s three-day debate on a motion of no-confidence, opening today It would be Norway's first change of Government since 1935, breaking the Labour Party's unprecedented 28 years of continuous rule. The ruling party has 74 members in the 150-seat Parkament and the Conservatives, Liberals, Agrarians and Christian Peoples' Party members total the same number. The two vital seats are held bv the Socialist People's Party, a Left-wing offshoot of the Labour Party.
