Rubbish Collection At Lyttelton
The Lyttelton Borough Council would be wise to consider some modification of its rubbish collection policy. A limited weekly collection may serve most householders well enough if they can burn and bury much of their garbage; but something more is required in the commercial area at least. Some business pre-
mises will be seriously embarrassed by the limits placed on their rubbish disposal, and dangers to health may result. Perhaps the difficulty could be overcome by providing an additional service for an additional fee to cover the cost. In that way no burden would be placed on the ordinary citizen.
