Elderly Woman Killed
(N J 5. Press Association) - NELSON, August 18. An elderly woman pedestrian was killed in an accident on the main highway, south of Polstead road at 8 p.m on Saturday night. She was Mrs Florence Sloss, aged 79. a widow, of 682 Main road. Stoke. She was struck by a ear driven by Edward Thomas Soanes, of High street, Motueka, who was leaving the city to return to Motueka.
