New Classrooms At Mairehau High
(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, August 16. Four classrooms are to be added to the Mairehau High School at a cost of more than £7OOO. The Minister of Education (Mr Tennent) said today that the new rooms were expected to be available for use at the opening of the school year in 1964.
Transport Alliance.—Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Road Transport Alliance held recently were: president, Mr F. S. Blogg; executive, Messrs I. G. Blake B. B Woods. W J. C Winskill D. F. Musgrove, W. H. K. Boon, R. H Blatchford. L. R. Griffin, W J. Baker K. G. McDonald and W. G. Butler.
