C.W.I. VISITORS ENTERTAINED

The Christchurch Centre and South Brighton Country Women’s Institutes recently entertained members of the Whangarei Federation of the C.W.I. when they visited Christchurch on a bus tour. The visitors were taken to the Canterbury Museum and to afternoon tea at the Canterbury federation's rooms. South Brighton members entertained them in the evening with a film of the Haast Pass road in the making and with games. The Whangarei guests also contributed to the programme with items.
