GIFT TO SISTER ClTY.—The Dominion president of the Disabled Servicemen’s Re-establishment League (Mr D. W. Russell) hands to the Mayor (Mr G. Manning) a barometer, set in New Zealand woods and paua shell, at the Mayor’s office yesterday morning. The gift, from the league, will be presented to the Mayor of Christchurch, Hampshire, by Mr Manning while he is in England.
