£2000 For N.Z. Tour
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. July 23. Twenty - two Sydney schoolboy Rugby players will leave on an IS-day playing tour of New Zealand next month, following an amazing fund-raising effort.
Players, parents, officials, and supporters of the North Sydney under-16 team raised the necessary £2OOO with raffles, competitions, and house parties.
The 22-member team will play six. games in the North Island between August 23 and September 9. The group will also include a manager, a coach, a gear steward., and five parents.
