The appointee will be required to expand and develop the work of the Statistics Section of the Registrar’s Office, tociuritog the preparation of enrolment forecasts, production and analysis of staff, enrolment and examination statistics. A knowledge of modern statistical methods is essential and some experience of punch card data processing systems is desirable. The salary range for the position is £1750-£2450, with superannuation similar to F.S.S.U. SALARY SCALES: In accordance with the Hospital Employment (Medical Officers) Regulations, the commencing rates of salary will be determined in accordance with qualifications and experience of the appointees within the following scales:— Junior Registrars—£l2Bs£1429 per annum. Senior Registrars—£l47o£1670 per annum. ACCOMMODATION: Board and Residence may be provided for single appointees and some partially furnished residential accommodation is available for married appointees. Duties would commence in January. 1964. The Branch Faculty conducts a course for final year students and the appointee is Medical Tutor to the Faculty. The appointment is a full-time one and is for one year, but may may be extended for a further year. The position is nonresidential.
