PUBLIC NOTICB WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL MARSHLAND RIDING WORKS WAN-1963 IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the Waimairi County Council at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers. Fendalton, on Thursday. July 18. 1963. passed the following resolution: — 1 That tn pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act. 1956. the "Local Authorities Loans Act. 1956" and all amendments thereto and all other acts (if any) enabling it in that behalf the Council proceed to raise in New Zealand a loan of £5400 for the purpose of constructing kerbing and channelling and reconstructing and sealing a length of Lake Terrace road in the Marshland Riding. 2 That such loan be known as the Marshland Riding Works Loan. 1963 (hereinafter re- ’ ferred to as the "said loan"). 3 That the term for which the said loan or any part' thereof may be borrowed shall not exceed ten years. 4 That the rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof, shall be such as shall not produce to the tender or tenders a rate exceeding five and three eighths (£5 7s 6d) per cent, per annum. 5 That the said loan shall be repaid by annual redemption of debentures or stock. 6 That the payment of interest and the repayment of principal in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand and no amount payable as either interest or principal shall be paid out of loan monies 7 That the rate payable for brokerage in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not exceed one half per cent of any amount raised. 8 That no moneys shall be borrowed under this sanction after the expiration of three vears from the date of the Order-in-Council consenting to the raising of the loan. 9 That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge for the repayment of the said loan and the charges thereon a Special Rate of ,0963995 d (pence) in the £ (pmindi on the rateable value (on the basis of caoital value) of all rateable prooerties within the Marshland Riding. 10 That the form of security for the repayment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be bv means of debentures of £lOO. £5OO and £lOOO denomination and interest coupons in conformity with the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956. or by Registered Stock
