THEFT OF DEED CASE
Burnside Burglary A deed case containing important private papers was stolen when the home of Mr T. F. Watson at 217 Memorial avenue was burgled during the week-end. The deed case, painted In black enamel, had Mr Watson's initials and name painted on it in white. The deed case also contained about £27. Mr Watson left his home locked when he went away He could find no signs of entry when he returned, but the deed case and another £7 were missing. It was apparent that an attempt to force the locked deed case open had been made in the sitting-room. It is probable that the burglar took the deed case with him. forced it open, and threw it away.
Any person seeing the documents or the deed case is asked to get in touch with the Central Police Station.
