INSURANCE ON TRIPS
Schools Seek Opinion (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 23. The Wellington PostPrimary Schools Council decided at a meeting tonight to ask the Education Department to seek a legal opinion on the insurance of all pupils and teachers on school holiday trips. When approached with a similar request previously, the department had replied that each college should consult its own solicitors. “If we accept the decision of the department we shall have 170 college boards throughout New Zealand receiving 170 legal opinions,'' a council member said.
