Sir Alfred North President (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 22. The Governor-General (Sir Bernard Fergusson) has appointed Sir Alfred North as president of the Court of Appeal and Mr Justice McCarthy as a permanent judge of the Court.
