Sir Ragnar Garrett has been re-appomted as principal of the Australian Administrative Staff College, for a further 12 months His term of three years expired on June 30 He recently visited Christchur''h.
Mr George Hays, who has been assigned to the United States Embassy in Wellington for tour years as com merctal attache, arrived with hts wife and three children in the Monterey yesterday Also in the ship was Mr Hubert Yates, whose appointment as general services asavtant at the embassy is for two years He has his wife and two children with him.—<PA..l
Nuffield travelling fellowships for 1963 have been • warded to Dr. G N Malcolm, senior lecturer in chemistry, University of Otago. Dr. A. J. Ellis, senior principal scientific officer in the Departmen*, of Scient fic and Industrial Research Wellington Dr G P Barton senior lecturer in law, Victoria University and Mr A M.
