Close of play scores in Saturday's cricket matches were:— At Lord's.—Eton 202 for nine declared drew with Harrow 82 for eight. Match abandoned. At Leeds.—Yorkshire 90 for no wicket v. Middlesex. Rain stopped play.

At Pontypridd—Gloucestershire four for no wicket V. Glamorgan—rain. At Manchester.—Nottinghamshire 149 for nine v. Lancashire —rain. At Derby.—Pakistan Eaglets ISO (Wazir Mohammad SB). Derbyshire 81 for four—rain. There was no play between Somerset and Essex. Hampshire and Oxford University, Worcestershire and Kent, and Sussex and Surrey.
