Trial quantities of benton ite from Hughey Brother’s mine in the Harper Hills, near Hororata, had been distributed to prospective users in various parts of New Zealand, and as far as was known had met with general approval, Mr D. J. Hughey, Hororata manager of Hughey Brothers, Ltd., said yesterday.
