Vietnam

Sir,—•'Coemosian” has conthat people behind the Iron Curtain have a nght to vote I challenge that There is only one party to vote for. Wliat right is there when there is only one choice? I repeat that people under the dictatorship of communism are slaves. You are a slave when the State eliminates all freedom at thought and action, and your mind is swamped with Marxist indoctrination. You are a slave when you are punished for rebelling against the State’s dictates. The only reason I am able to “buff and puff to my heart’s content,” and challenge falsities, is because I am living in a democracy. The only reason “Coatnosian” is able to ventilate his armchair opinions is that democracies do not employ indoctrination and brainwashing to convert nonconformists into automata of yes-men, as the Communists do—Yours, etc., CITIZEN.
