Railways' Land Let Free (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 28. In an effort to coratrol noxious weeds on Railways land,/ the department was letting adjoining owners use it renit and rates free for seven years and helping them with fences and spray materials, said the Minister of Railways (Mr McAlpine) in Parliament today. The tracks were sprayed once a year and cuttings were slashed yearly.
