NGA TAW A LUNCHEON
More than 50 former pupils of the Nga Tawa School (Marton) gathered from all parts of Canterbury to attend a luncheon held recently by the Christchurch branch of the school’s Old Girls’ Association, at the home of Mrs I. H. Macartiiur, Cashmere.
The luncheon was preceded by a communion service celebrated by the Rev. G. A. W. Armstrong, at St. Augustine's Church. Mrs lan Bell, of Wellington, who was the last president of the association, spoke at the luncheon. Members of the committee which organised the luncheon were: Mesdames A T. Cottrell. D F. Sibley. A. D. Hart. J. Garland. M. Williams. L. A. Fisher. L. Hurndell and N. Robilliard, and Misses M. Strahan. G. Fletcher, and A. Satrterth waite.
