Died From Wounds

At an inquest in Auckland yesterday, the Coroner <Mr K. A. Snedden) found that Anthony Walter Shaw, aged 45. died from wounds caused when a bolt from a Ramset gun was accidentally deflected into his chest. Evidence was given thai the gun was being used to fasten wooden boards on to concrete blocks on a partly finished house. Earlier on the day of the accident Mr Shaw had told a helper to “keep well clear of these things because they can go anywhere."
