CANDIDATE FOR SYDENHAM
Two Nominated For National
There is not usually competition for the National Party candidate to stand in the Labour stronghold of Sydenham, but two nominees will go before the selection committee this year They are Messrs D. Patchett and D J. Quigley. Mr Quigley is a farmer at Waipara who stood against Miss M. B Howard. M.P., in Sydenham at the last General Election and who was also the National candidate at the Timaru by-election. Mr Patchett is in business it' Christchurch.
