Councillors’ Offences
(N.Z Press Association) ROTORUA. June 12. Unless they were actually imprisoned, councillors guilty of offences punishable by im-
prisonment under the Transport Act should not be disqualified from holding office, the Counties Association decided at Rotorua this afternoon.
A remit to this effect from Wallace was passed bv 54 votes to 32, with 31 abstentions.
