Sick Seaman Transferred
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 11. The liner Rangitoto, with a dangerously-iU seaman from the freighter Hauraki on board, will arrive at Auckland about 8 p.m. on Thursday. The seaman was transferred to the liner in mid-ocean after a mercy dash of 280 miles. The Rangitoto was on her way from Southampton to Auckland with 400 passengers.
As no berthage can be found for the ship before 8 a.m. on Friday, the seaman will be taken ashore by launch.
