Power Failure In St. Albans

Power was off m the St Albans area for two hours and a quarter last evening A circuit breaker in the Springfield road sub-station failed to open This caused an overload tn other parts of the system and a consequent breakdown in supply The failure commenced at 6 pm and power was restored at 815 pm
