Greendale C.W.I. Anniversary
Members of the Greendale Country Women’s Institute recently celebrated its thirtyfirst anniversary. ' Among the guests welcomed and presented with sprays by Mrs N Shipley was Mrs C. H. Adams who, at 86, is the oldest member of the institute and regularly attends meetings. A musical programme was arranged by Mrs W. D. McDiarmid with Mesdames K. Swallow, E. Williams, and D. Pashby. The Winifred Russell Memorial trophy was presented to Mrs C. Ridgen, who also won the most points for the year in the cut flower competition.
