Derby TV By Telstar

The American Broadcasting Company said today it planned to carry a live television broadcast of the Irish Sweepstakes Derby on June 29 to be transmitted to New York by way of Telstar II communications satellite, Associated Press reported. A.B.C. said the transmission of toe classic for three-year-olds at the Curragh race course, near Dublin, would be sent during Telstar Il's 341st orbit.
