French Derby To Sanctus

A 100 to 7 chance, Mr Jean Ternynek’s Sanctus, won the !T;x du Jockey Club—the French Derby—at Chantilly. Mr Henri Aubert’s Nyrcos was second, with Baron Thiery de Zuylen’s Due de Gueldre third. Sanctus won by half a length, with threequarters of a length between second and third.
