Swimming Recognition Withheld
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LAUSANNE (Switzerland), June 9.
The International Swimming Federation has decided not to recognise the Mediterranean Games in Naples next September.
This decision follows the failure of the organisers to invite several countries, including Albania and Israel, to compete in Naples.
The International Amateur Athletic Federation has already taken similar action to the swimming body about the athletics programme at the games.
