Safe Stolen From Factory
A safe, containing £63. was taken from- the office of the Kiwi Bacon Company (Christchurch’. Ltd.’, at the corner of Cuthberts and Maces roads. Bromley. on Saturday night. The entry into the premises was discovered at 3 a.m. by a security services patrol officer. The three foot high safe was found in the Waimakariri river-bed not far from the Harewood golf course. It had been hacked open.
