Beef Schedule Increase
» (N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON June 10. An increase of 5s per 1001 b m meat operators’ schedule prices for boner beef was announced today. The new prices for the South Island, which are effective from today are:— s. d Boner cow. ox and heifer 87 6 Boner bull .. .. 112 6 Business Personal Mr C. U. Plimmer. who is due to retire from the _ board o* directors of New Zealand United Consolidated. Ltd., by rotation, is not seeking reelection. Since March 31. Mr J S Stacey has been appointed to the board. Boral Bid.—Bitumen, and Oil Refineries (Australia), Ltd., has received acceptances in respect of more than 50 per cent, of the ordinary shares in Mt. Lyell Investments, Ltd.
