Rubbish Dumping Denied
The Mount Herbert County Council has written to the Lyttelton Borough Council denying allegations of unauthorised dumping of rubbish at Diamond Harbour, by residents of the Mt. Herbert district.
The letter, received by the Borough Council last evening, said the council provides a weekly rubbish collection for its residents. This was being taken advantage of by Charteris Bay and Church Bay residents.
